Battle Creek Underground Railroad Memorial
The Kellogg Foundation Headquarters
Battle Creek, MI

The W.K. Kellogg Foundation commissioned this memorial. The sculpture is the largest memorial to the Underground Railroad in the United States. It features Harriet Tubman leading escaped slaves as well as Erastus and Sarah Hussey, the Station Masters for Southern Michigan, ushering slaves into their basement.

The bronze sculpture is twenty-eight feet long and fifteen feet tall, and was installed in 1994.
